What does it take to become a successful DevOps engineer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripting Knowledge<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

-Proficiency in scripting language such as Powershell, Bash, Python<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Version control systems (Git\/SVN)<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

-Knoledgable in Common SCM practices, such as branching and code merge ability to work within a team with strong analytica, problem-solving and communication skill<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloud and Linux knowledge is must<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

-you should be proficient with at least one cloud service provider. Preferably AWS coz it has a major market share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expereince in developing CI\/CD pipeline<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
  • Becuase in CI\/CD pipeline you might have to integrate multiple development, testing and deployment technologies. YOu might have to integrate those techologies.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    According to indeed and abgelist, 80% of the companies pay more than $90000 starting salary to a DevOps engineer. Also, 35% pay at least $115000 and 17% more than $125000<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Obviously there are multiple factors which affects salary for example geography, skills, company so it varries accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
