Check if Word is running before installation.<\/p>\n<p>3. Kill a process gt4t.exe (my own application) before installation<\/p>\n<p>4. Open a .doc file and start newly installed gt4t.exe upon successful installation.<\/p>\n<p>I have achieved all above with an unpaid version of installshield. While I seriously considering buying an installer maker, installshield is not an option as it is far too expensive for an individual like me.
