Notice that you have a drop-down on the left of the top bar, which allows you to specify<br>different types of HTTP requests you want to send, and this will become important throughout this article where we will not only send&nbsp;<strong>Get&nbsp;<\/strong>request but also&nbsp;<strong>Post<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Put<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Patch<\/strong>, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Lets take an Example to understand better.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m taking example of google map API where i&#8217;ll make a <strong>GET<\/strong> Request to get data from Google Map. Lets Open our Postman and follow the below steps :-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fill the API link to get data. Basic URL is given below :-<\/strong> <br>      <strong>http:\/\/www.your_url.com\/api\/api_url<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. POST Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Set the method as <strong>POST<\/strong>, fill the <strong>URL<\/strong>, in <strong>Params<\/strong> fill the <strong>Key<\/strong> and <strong>Key_Value <\/strong>as your table in database, i have <strong>Name<\/strong>, <strong>Price <\/strong>, and <strong>Stock <\/strong>to fill in database so I&#8217;ve filled all and click on <strong>Send<\/strong>.
