[command] Executes a shell command from within the FTP program.<\/p>\n<p>Directory Commands<br \/>\ncd [directory] Changes to the specified directory on the remote system.<br \/>\ndir Displays a long listing of files on the remote system.<br \/>\nls Displays a short listing of the files on the remote system.<br \/>\nlcd Changes the working directory on the local system.<br \/>\npwd Displays the working directory on the remote system.<\/p>\n<p>File Transfer Commands<br \/>\nget [filename] Downloads a single file from the remote system.<br \/>\nput [filename] Uploads a single file to the remote system.<br \/>\nmget [file&#8230;] Downloads multiple files from the remote system.<br \/>\nmput [file&#8230;] Uploads multiple files to the remote system.<\/p>\n<p>Miscellaneous<br \/>\nascii Sets the file type to ASCII text.
