Your choice determines whether a mention of Jira issue (in a GitLab commit, merge request, or both) creates a cross-link in Jira back to GitLab.<\/li><li>To comment in the Jira issue when a\u00a0<strong>Trigger<\/strong>\u00a0action is made in GitLab, select\u00a0<strong>Enable comments<\/strong>.<\/li><li>To transition Jira issues when a\u00a0closing reference\u00a0is made in GitLab, select\u00a0<strong>Enable Jira transitions<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Provide Jira configuration information:<ul><li><strong>Web URL<\/strong>: The base URL to the Jira instance web interface you\u2019re linking to this GitLab project, such as\u00a0<code>https:\/\/jira.example.com<\/code>.<\/li><li><strong>Jira API URL<\/strong>: The base URL to the Jira instance API, such as\u00a0<code>https:\/\/jira-api.example.com<\/code>. Defaults to the\u00a0<strong>Web URL<\/strong>\u00a0value if not set. Leave blank if using\u00a0<strong>Jira on Atlassian cloud<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Username or Email<\/strong>: For\u00a0<strong>Jira Server<\/strong>, use\u00a0<code>username<\/code>. For\u00a0<strong>Jira on Atlassian cloud<\/strong>, use\u00a0<code>email<\/code>.<\/li><li><strong>Password\/API token<\/strong>: Use\u00a0<code>password<\/code>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>Jira Server<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<code>API token<\/code>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>Jira on Atlassian cloud<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>To enable users to\u00a0view Jira issues\u00a0inside the GitLab project, select\u00a0<strong>Enable Jira issues<\/strong>\u00a0and enter a Jira project key.You can display issues only from a single Jira project in a given GitLab project.If you enable Jira issues with this setting, all users with access to this GitLab project can view all issues from the specified Jira project.<\/li><li>To enable\u00a0issue creation for vulnerabilities, select\u00a0<strong>Enable Jira issue creation from vulnerabilities<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the\u00a0<strong>Jira issue type<\/strong>.
