Our team uses cloud computing as the primary platform for running applications, data workloads, and development tools across environments. Most customer-facing services, APIs, and internal tools are hosted on cloud infrastructure, using managed databases, object storage, and container or serverless platforms to reduce operational overhead. This has given us faster provisioning, easier scaling during traffic spikes, and improved reliability through managed backups and multi-zone deployments. At the same time, we’ve faced challenges around cost optimization, security governance, and skills—especially understanding pricing models, configuring identity and access correctly, and designing resilient architectures. To address this, we adopted infrastructure as code, tagging and cost monitoring, standardized security baselines, and regular training, which helped us gain better control, predictability, and value from our cloud usage.
