Organizations choosing a decentralized identity (DID) platform should evaluate factors such as privacy protection, cryptographic security, interoperability with existing systems, scalability, compliance with regulations, user control over digital credentials, and integration capabilities with applications. These features ensure secure, flexible, and user-centric identity management without relying on centralized authorities. In my opinion, the most important factor is privacy, because decentralized identity is built on the principle of giving users full control over their personal data and reducing unnecessary data exposure. While security and interoperability are also essential for protection and usability, privacy is the core foundation that establishes trust and defines the real value of DID platforms.
