These systems reduce human error, speed up inspection, and enable continuous monitoring of production lines, resulting in improved product quality and fewer defective outputs. In my opinion, the most important capability is defect detection, because identifying flaws early and accurately directly determines product quality and reduces waste and rework. While real-time monitoring is also valuable for ongoing supervision and process optimization, defect detection has the greatest impact on ensuring reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in industrial production.
