In my opinion, the most important factor when selecting a Public Relations (PR) platform is media reach, because the core purpose of PR is to effectively distribute messages, press releases, and brand stories to the right audiences across relevant media channels. If a platform has strong media reach, it ensures that communications actually get visibility among journalists, news outlets, influencers, and target audiences, which directly impacts brand awareness and reputation building. While real-time monitoring, analytics depth, ease of use, integration capabilities, and cost efficiency are all important for managing and optimizing PR activities, they become significantly more valuable only after the message is successfully delivered to a wide and relevant audience. Therefore, strong media reach forms the foundation of an effective communication strategy by maximizing exposure, strengthening brand credibility, and ensuring that reputation management efforts have a meaningful and measurable impact.
