kernel-install's Examples

Used to add or remove kernel images to/from the system’s boot loader entries (like systemd-boot).

Explanation:

  • Adds a new kernel version (6.1.0) to the boot loader.

  • Automatically generates initramfs and boot entries.

 

sudo kernel-install add 6.1.0 /boot/vmlinuz-6.1.0
