Whenever we think about Digital marketing word, all the time only one word is there that strikes our mind is Social media.

Well, actually it’s correct. Digital marketing is nothing rather than internet stuff. Its complete world moves around the internet, where to do, how to do, what to do. The answer comes at one place that is social media, websites, etc. All the work is getting done on the internet.

Digital marketing is online marketing that generates customers by the use of the internet and other forms of communication.

It includes so many ways to do marketing like Advertisement of banners, videos, affiliates, content writing and so many, which we will discuss in brief below.

Search engine optimization (SEO) – Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process that is used to optimize a website’s technical configuration, content relevance, and link popularity so its pages can become easily searchable, much more relevant and popular towards user search queries, and also Google ranks our page as a result.

In simple words, it is a process of improving your website to increase its visibility in search engines so whenever people search for products or services that are related to your business they can easily reach out to you.

That means increasing search engine traffic to the business websites.

2. Search engine marketing (SEM) – SEM is the same as SEO which means it is also the process to increase the traffic to your website whether it is through organic way or paid way. At last, your website page should appear on Google’s 1 page. So that whenever any user searches for your brand, product, and services related to your business, they can reach you directly.

The only difference between SEO and SEM is SEO is the completely organic way and SEM prefers both organic and paid.

  • Content marketing – Content marketing is a way to attract an audience and to create a mindset through writing an article, videos, podcasts, social media sites, etc. so whenever any user wants to buy products or services that are related to your nature of business they definitely come to you. Basically, it has its own way to achieve the business goal by serving relevant content to customers so that they can engage with you. 
  • Social media marketing – Social media marketing is referred to as the use of social media platforms like promotions to websites, Youtube, Instagram, FB, Twitter, Linkdin, etc., to reach the customers. So that they can be aware of your brand, products, services, etc.

For example – You must have been seen while searching in Google a link show overall the search results. That is also a way to advertise, promotions on Youtube, Fb, other mobile apps, etc.

6. Affiliate marketing – Affiliate marketing is done by a person who is hired by a company to make sales on such a particular product or service by providing him a link of that product that redirects customers directly from one place to our dedicated product page.

An affiliate is a person who makes sales in terms of earning some set percentage of commission.
