Candidates should have a solid foundation in programming in an Azure-supported language and proficiency using Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, and other tools. It’s also beneficial to have at least two years of professional development experience, including hands-on experience with Azure.
For those preparing for the AZ-204 exam, there are various resources available. Microsoft Learn offers self-paced learning paths, while Coursera provides a Professional Certificate program that covers not only Azure fundamentals but also more advanced topics like cloud security, data security, and cloud management. Pluralsight also offers a comprehensive learning path tailored to the exam, covering key topics such as Azure Compute Solutions, Azure Storage, and Azure Security, to name a few.
Practical experience and hands-on practice are highly recommended to reinforce learning and ensure readiness for the exam. Consider utilizing practice tests and training courses offered by Coursera, Pluralsight, or Microsoft’s own resources to fill any gaps in knowledge and to get accustomed to the exam format.
