Many of us have used AI before and continue using it daily. How, you may ask, well, Netflix recommendation, chatbots Siri, Alexa, and other smart assistants are a few examples of how. Artificial Intelligence, called AI, is a software technology that enables machines to think and act like humans. Over the years to come, more businesses are more likely to adopt Artificial Intelligence.

For a few years now, there has been worrying about whether AI will replace the writing industry. These machines threaten academic writers and professional paper writing services, making them jobless. In a way, this discussion is a hard nut to crack, since vital points support both sides. Below are some relevant issues to consider.

Speed

The human brain is ten million times slower than a machine. Artificial Intelligence reduces time spent on a project due to its relatively high speed in executing commands. AI can write faster within a short while. The fact that an academic writer may be very experienced does not change the fact that AI is faster.

Empathy

Empathy is the ability to feel and understand what someone else is going through. Human beings are social living creatures. We thrive by expressing ourselves in different ways.

As much as AI is considered to act like a human being, it does not stretch to every human feature.

While Artificial Intelligence can produce academic pieces, the pieces may lack the human touch. These writings don’t bring out the weight of the words because artificial intelligence lacks emotions. Academic writers or all writers, in general, have emotions and put these emotions into their writing. They interweave their feelings into work, giving the reader a better understanding of what they are writing about and keeping them engaged.

Creativity

Converting imaginative ideas into reality in writing is an excellent skill for professional academic writers. A writer’s creativity is identified by perceiving the world differently, making connections between unrelated occurrences, and providing probable solutions.

Artificial Intelligence can transform given data into a form of writing. However, the writing produced by AI lacks the creativity that a human professional academic writer may inhibit. Thus if told to compare work done by AI and the other by a professional writer, you find the AI one is very robotic and is more of statistical giving. The writer’s work is way more exciting and captivating due to the sprinkle of creativity.

Affordability

The matter of price has always been a factor that is put under consideration before investing in products. It takes a nation to have Artificial Intelligence up, and running.AI requires the use of expensive machines. The process of building, launching, and managing AI is also costly and time-consuming. AI involves the employment of a new professional team that consists of data scientists, developers, and engineers who from records are costly to have on board.

On the other hand, professional academic writing is affordable. For a human to produce written work, few things are involved in making it possible. The significant necessities are having a computer and stable internet, which are relatively cheap. Most of the academic writing services are also not costly. The bottom line is that AI is efficient and does not negate its cost.

The Quality of Writing

Computers do not make mistakes. The errors that occur result from wrongful human coding or defective hardware. No mistakes demonstrate that work produced by artificial intelligence is accurate.AI, conducts in-depth research, and makes necessary compilations that are important in producing detailed, quality written results. Although artificial intelligence can write text, the final composed text must be confirmed by the human eye through proofreading and conducting sensor checks.

Some points mentioned above also characterize quality. A professional academic writer will deliver their writings differently from how AI does. This goes without saying that the human touch in educational and other types of writing improves the quality.

Consumer Confidence

How something is received out to the world is essential. The reviews matter, be it a new product being launched, a new program, new information, a show, or a written piece. Feedback is what results in forward changes and also influences future decision-making.

In writing, the consumer expects thoughtful, well-formulated sentences that captivate and keep them interested. In retrospect, professional academic writers are known to deliver what the consumer needs. With artificial intelligence being taken up in many industries, consumers of academic writings have not yet been sold to the idea altogether. The stiffness or robotic nature of written material from AI is one of the reasons why consumers have not yet fully warmed up to the concept of AI doing everything involving writing.

Work Coverage

The introduction of artificial intelligence to the world has brought about immense positive changes or benefits. Life today has been simplified by AI. The days of performing a task repetitively are long gone or will be in a few more years.

As humans, when we do something repetitively for long, we get bored, tired and the credibility, quality, and quantity of our end products are lower. Working on writing academic pieces also gets tiresome. The writers end up producing unsatisfactory work. In contrast to this, artificial intelligence is formulated to work tirelessly. Most of the work ends up being done with the improvisation of AI.

The time factor is also something to put under consideration. A human or a professional academic writer, in our case, spends a lot of time conducting in-depth research. Additionally, the writing process in writing and editing can be pretty time-consuming, especially on hectic topics. AI saves so much time because of the fast execution of commands. In a week, the difference in the number of academic writings done by professional writers and simulated by AI is quite varied.

Conclusion

Artificial intelligence is vastly being incorporated into many of the humans we engage in. We have to agree that AI is efficient, reliable, and has significant advantages in our lives. However, threats such as causing unemployment make us reconsider our stand towards AI.

From the analysis above, I believe it is safe to say that there is a slight chance that AI will partially replace professional academic writers soon. At the moment, though, the academic writers’ jobs are not in harm’s way.
