Apache Ant builds software by executing tasks you define explicitly in XML. Unlike later tools it has no conventions and no dependency resolution of its own — you say what to compile, where to put it, and in what order. That verbosity is the reason it was superseded, and also the reason it survives: when a build does something genuinely unusual, Ant will let you express it without fighting a convention. Most Ant work today is maintenance. The useful skills are reading a large build file someone else wrote, making it reproducible, and knowing how to bring in dependency management with Ivy or move parts of it elsewhere.
There is a great deal of long-lived enterprise software whose build is Ant and will remain Ant, because rewriting a working build carries risk and no visible benefit. Organisations need people who can maintain those builds, make them run in modern CI, and migrate them incrementally where it is worth doing.

No, and that is deliberate. You build the labs on your own free-tier account, and we walk through the setup and the cost guardrails in week one. A sandbox that expires when the course ends teaches you nothing you keep; your own environment does.
Every session is recorded and available in the LMS the same day, and you keep access for a year. You can also sit the missed session again with the next cohort at no extra cost.

Sessions are taught from India in IST. The weekday cohort runs in the IST evening and the weekend cohort in the IST morning, and the batch table above converts both to your local time. Everything is recorded, so a difficult timezone is inconvenient rather than disqualifying.
Only in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, where we have training centres, and only when six or more learners in that city book the same cohort. Everywhere else the same batch runs live online, or onsite at your office for a corporate group.
