Artifactory training in Chennai is taken mostly by Build and release engineers and DevOps engineers standardising dependency management. Sessions run live online in IST (UTC+5:30), or onsite at your office — there is no Chennai classroom. Teams here often pair it with our Agile and Ansible training, and a corporate batch can cover more than one in a single engagement. Chennai's engineering base leans toward long-lived systems and deep vendor relationships rather than toward rapid adoption, and cohorts here reflect that. Teams along OMR and in Siruseri often maintain platforms that have been running for a decade, so the useful sessions are about migration paths, backwards compatibility and how to introduce a new practice without a rewrite — not about greenfield design. Manufacturing and automotive engineering is a strong presence, along with a large captive base in banking operations, and both bring the same requirement: change has to be low-risk and reversible. Questions about staged rollout, rollback and blast radius come up more here than in cities with a heavier product-company mix. We do not run a classroom in Chennai. What is Artifactory?
Artifactory is a binary repository. It proxies public registries so builds do not depend on the internet being up, hosts your own packages across formats, and lets you promote a single artefact through repositories as it passes each stage. The important idea is that you build once and promote the same bytes — never rebuild per environment. Around that sit access control, retention and cleanup policies, and increasingly provenance metadata, because knowing exactly what went into a release has become a compliance question rather than a curiosity.
Why it's in demand now
Software supply-chain security has moved from a specialist concern to a board-level one, and the artefact repository is where most of the controls land: what came from outside, what was built here, what was scanned, and what was actually shipped. Engineers who can implement promotion and provenance properly are in short supply.

Do you run classroom batches in Chennai?
No. We do not have a training centre in Chennai, and we would rather say so than let you plan a commute. Batches here run live online, or onsite at your own office for corporate cohorts. Our two classrooms are in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
What time do the sessions run in Chennai?
Sessions run in IST (UTC+5:30), which is local time for you: the weekend cohort at 10:00–13:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and the weekday cohort at 20:00–22:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Most Chennai learners take the weekend batch because it does not collide with a release window.
Where do your Chennai learners usually travel from?
Most Chennai attendees work in OMR / Sholinganallur, Taramani, Guindy, Ambattur, Siruseri, Perungudi or Porur. We mention it because there is no Chennai classroom to travel to: batches run live online, and for corporate cohorts we come to your office in whichever of those areas you are in.
Is the Artifactory content different for Chennai?
The curriculum is the same everywhere — it is the same course, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. What changes for Chennai is delivery: the batch times are set for IST (UTC+5:30), fees are shown in INR, and delivery is live online or onsite at your office rather than in a classroom. The examples our instructors reach for also tend to follow what Chennai teams actually run.
Do you provide a lab environment for Artifactory?
No, and that is deliberate. You build the labs on your own free-tier account, and we walk through the setup and the cost guardrails in week one. A sandbox that expires when the course ends teaches you nothing you keep; your own environment does.
What if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded and available in the LMS the same day, and you keep access for a year. You can also sit the missed session again with the next cohort at no extra cost.
What do I need to know before starting Artifactory?
Understanding of your build system; Comfortable with a CI pipeline; Basic Linux administration. If you are unsure whether you are ready, tell us what you work on now and we will give you a straight answer rather than a sales one.
Is there a certificate, and is it worth anything?
You get an industry-recognised DevOpsSchool certificate after the three-hour open-book exam. Most people find the capstone repositories carry more weight in an interview than the certificate itself, which is why the labs are built to be shown.
Can you run Artifactory as a private batch for our team?
Yes. We build the agenda from your stack after a discovery call and drop anything your team already runs in production. Teams of 8 to 30 work best; larger groups split into parallel batches.
What is your refund policy?
If we cancel or postpone a cohort and you decline the rescheduled session, you get a full refund within 15 days. We do not offer a general money-back guarantee, and taxes and gateway fees are not refunded.
Do you offer instalments or EMI?
