AWS training in Pune

Pune's AWS work splits along two lines that rarely meet. Hinjawadi and Talawade are dominated by services and engineering-services firms delivering into a client's account, where the constraint is not what you would build but what you are permitted to touch — read-only consoles, tickets for every IAM change, and a landing zone somebody else designed. Training that assumes admin rights is useless there, so the Pune cohorts spend more time on least-privilege patterns, cross-account roles and reading someone else's CloudFormation than a product-company cohort would.

The other line runs through Kharadi, Magarpatta and Baner: captive centres and product teams who do own their accounts, and increasingly own the bill with it. Automotive and industrial engineering has a strong presence here, which brings workloads that are unusual elsewhere in India — long-running simulation and CAE jobs on spot capacity, data pipelines feeding telematics, and hard questions about egress cost that never come up in a web-application context.

We schedule Pune batches for that mix. There is no DevOpsSchool classroom in Pune — sessions run live online in IST, or onsite at your office in Hinjawadi or Kharadi for corporate cohorts, which is how most Pune teams take it. The weekend cohort fills first, largely from the services firms where weekday evenings collide with a client's timezone rather than with a release window.

What is AWS?

AWS is Amazon's cloud platform: a few hundred services layered over regions and availability zones, of which a working engineer touches perhaps twenty. The ones that matter are the primitives everything else is built on — IAM for identity and permission boundaries, VPC for network isolation and routing, EC2 and EBS for compute and block storage, S3 for object storage and lifecycle, RDS and DynamoDB for managed data, CloudWatch and CloudTrail for telemetry and audit, and CloudFormation or Terraform to declare all of it as code. Around those sit the delivery services — ECS and EKS for containers, Lambda for event-driven compute, CodePipeline for CI/CD. The difficulty in AWS is rarely a single service. It is knowing which of four services solves your problem, what it costs at scale, and how to keep an account estate secure and auditable once more than one team is deploying into it.

Why it's in demand now

Cloud spend has moved from growth budgets to scrutinised budgets, and that has changed what employers ask for. The demand is no longer for people who can launch resources but for people who can size them, tag them, put guardrails around them and explain the bill. At the same time, regulated industries that spent years on private cloud are now migrating, which puts a premium on engineers who can evidence encryption, least privilege and audit trails rather than just describe them.

Frequently asked questions

Do you run classroom batches in Pune?

No. We do not have a training centre in Pune, and we would rather say so than let you plan a commute. Pune batches run live online in IST, or onsite at your own office for corporate cohorts. Our two classrooms are in Bengaluru and Hyderabad if you would rather attend in person.

Which batch should I pick if I am on a release cycle?

The weekend cohort. It runs Saturday and Sunday, 10:00–13:00 IST, across five weekends, so it does not collide with a weekday release window. The weekday cohort runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, 20:00–22:00 IST.

Do you provide an AWS account for the labs?

No, and that is deliberate. You build the labs on your own free-tier AWS account, and we walk through the setup and the billing guardrails in week one. A sandbox that expires when the course ends teaches you nothing you keep; your own account does.

What if I miss a session?

Every session is recorded and available in the LMS the same day, and you keep access for a year. You can also sit the missed session again with the next cohort at no extra cost.

Is there a certificate, and is it worth anything?

You get an industry-recognised DevOpsSchool certificate after the three-hour open-book exam. It is not an AWS certification — it evidences that you built and defended the capstones. Most people use the capstone repositories in interviews more than the certificate itself.

Can you run this as a private batch for our team in Pune?

Yes, and onsite is the usual choice here — most Pune engagements run at the client's own office in Hinjawadi or Kharadi. We build the agenda from your stack after a discovery call. Teams of 8 to 30 work best; larger groups split into parallel batches.

What is your refund policy?
