How to fix my windows installer software?

installanywhereExpert created the topic: How to fix my windows installer software?
I tried the fix on the Microsoft site for an installer software repair, but I still cannot install new applications that use a windows installer. For example, I bought a new MP3 player, and can only explore the device because I can’t install the applicaiton. I typically get a 1325 type error.

Is there a way to fix this without wiping out my PC?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
